1. Purpose
This Confidentiality Agreement outlines the commitment Classic Detective Agency makes to protect the privacy and sensitive information of every client, given the personal and often sensitive nature of investigative work.
2. Scope of Confidential Information
Confidential information includes, but is not limited to: your identity, the nature and details of your case, any evidence gathered, communications between you and our team, and the final report or dossier delivered to you.
3. Our Commitment
- Your identity is never disclosed to third parties without your written consent
- Case files are accessible only to the investigators directly assigned to your case and senior supervising staff
- Field agents operate under strict internal non-disclosure obligations
- Physical and digital case records are stored securely and retained only as long as necessary
4. Exceptions
We may be required to disclose information where compelled by a valid court order, statutory legal obligation, or where necessary to prevent serious harm to a person. Where legally permitted, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before such disclosure.
5. Duration
Our confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely, both during and after the conclusion of an engagement, except where you direct us otherwise in writing.
6. Client's Right to Confidentiality
You have the right to request an update on how your case information is being handled, and to request secure deletion of records not legally required to be retained.
